Meliora looks after private residences and the households within them — the property, the people who work in it, and the record of how it all runs.
We take responsibility for the people who work in your home — yours, or our own vetted staff where needed — for contractors and maintenance, and for keeping everything worth knowing about your home where the household can find it. You are involved in the decisions that are yours; the rest is handled, and a well-run home feels effortless.

Services
Four ways we look after a household
Every home is different. We begin with a conversation, work out where support would be most valuable, and recommend the service and level of involvement that fits.
You own a house you are not in, and some part of you is always aware of it — the alarm that went off once, the pool, the gutters. Property Oversight takes that away: kept in working order and on record while no one is there, with a written account after every visit. Add Arrival & Departure and it is also cleaned, stocked and ready when you arrive.
02
Household Management
Everything in Property Oversight, and then the household itself. Meliora takes responsibility for everyone who works in your home — directing and holding to standard the staff you already have, and providing our own vetted, employed housekeepers, provisioners and coordinators wherever there is a gap. Contractors are met on site, quotes compared and invoices checked before they reach you. Includes Property Oversight for the primary residence.
03
Household Operations Consulting
Somewhere in your household is one person who knows which key opens the cellar, who last serviced the boiler, and where the insurance papers are. Consulting writes it all down before it leaves with them — the documentation that lets anyone competent keep your house to your standard, without you explaining it again. What we build belongs to you outright.
04
Private Chef & Dining
The hard part of entertaining at home is not the guests. It is the dozen arrangements before they arrive. Tell us how you want the occasion to feel; Meliora brings the chef, the service, the flowers and the table, and holds the standard while you enjoy it. Available whether or not Meliora looks after your household.
A household should not depend on one person's memory.
Private homes accumulate knowledge everywhere — in spreadsheets, messages, folders, contractor inboxes and the heads of the people who have been there longest. Meliora brings it together, so the property is looked after consistently, responsibilities are clear, and what is known about the home stays with the household rather than leaving with an individual. It is the difference between a house that is managed and a house that is kept.
Approach
The right support begins with understanding the household.
No two residences run the same way. We start by understanding what is already in place, where responsibility sits and what you would like to work differently. From there, the scope is clear.
01 · Conversation
Understand
A private conversation about the residence, the household and where support would be most valuable. Only enough to understand the need; detail waits until an agreement is signed.
02 · Walkthrough
Assess
Brynee visits the property, meets the people involved and reviews what already supports the home. Proportionate to the engagement — a residence to be looked after does not need a full consulting assessment to begin.
03 · Recommendation
Define
The service and level of involvement that fits, with scope, responsibilities, exclusions, reporting and fees in writing before work begins.
04 · Delivery
Take responsibility
Ongoing services can typically commence within a fortnight of agreement. Consulting follows the two-week assessment and the agreed plan. What changes with the service is the path; what remains is clear accountability, communication and discretion.
On the absence of case studies
The households we look after do not appear on this website. That is the point.
No names, no suburbs, no stories, however carefully disguised. The families who engage Meliora do so because their household is nobody else's business — and a firm that used one client's privacy to win the next would not deserve either.
What we can offer is a conversation, and, once an agreement is signed, a full account of how we work. If a reference would help, we will ask a client whether they are willing to speak with you, and accept their answer.

Privacy
Every household in our care stays private
The families who engage Meliora do so because their home is their own affair, and we keep it that way — in every conversation, every document and everything we publish.
Agreements first.
A non-disclosure agreement is signed before any detail of your home is discussed, and every person Meliora brings into the house works under the same obligation.
Only what is needed.
The people who work in your home are told what their role requires and nothing beyond it. Keys, codes and access are issued by name and withdrawn the day they are no longer needed.
Yours, always.
The documents, registers and records Meliora keeps of your household belong to you. They are handed over in full when an engagement ends, and Meliora keeps no copy.
Kept between us.
Your household is spoken of only to you and to those you have agreed should know — never to other clients, prospective clients, or anyone else.
Who we serve
Familiar faces. One number to call.
Meliora works with private families in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula, and with the house managers, estate managers and family offices who keep their households day to day. The people in your house are the same people, visit after visit, and for anything at all — a leaking tap, a new housekeeper, a dinner for twelve — you call one person, who already knows the house.
Common questions
Do you replace our house manager?
No. Most of our work sits alongside an existing house or estate manager and supports them — providing structure, taking on what is better handled by Meliora, and giving the principal one point of oversight.
We already have staff — how does that work?
Meliora directs them. We set the standard, the roster and the routine for the people you have, and quality-check the work. Where a role is missing or someone leaves, we can provide our own vetted, employed staff, or work with people you employ directly. You choose; either way, Meliora directs them and you have one relationship and one invoice.
How soon can you begin?
Ongoing services can typically commence within a fortnight of agreement. Consulting begins with a two-week assessment, after which scope, timeline and fee are agreed. Fuller detail is shared privately after a first conversation.
Can you look after a property we are rarely at?
Yes. Property Oversight is designed for exactly that, with Arrival & Departure available so the house is ready for each visit.
What happens to our information?
Nothing about your household is discussed until a non-disclosure agreement is signed, and nothing about it ever appears in public. The documents and records we keep belong to you; they are handed over in full when an engagement ends, and Meliora keeps no copy.
Where can I read more about each service?
We send a private overview after a first conversation — the service that suits your household, its scope, terms and fees.

A few lines are enough to begin. Tell us what kind of support you are considering and how best to reach you. No property address or household names are needed here — a non-disclosure agreement is put in place before those are discussed.
